Being contented... not...
Is really being contented with wad u get good enough or do u plea to do better? Is good always good enough? Why is there the word "better" then? I pondered... And got pretty frustrated haha.
I used to believe that challenging others would then allow u to know where u stand and how good u are... Well that was in the past, the real challenge like the ol' saying goes is challenging urself. Setting high standards for one and doing ur best to meet that standard is the most important. At least that was wad i felt thought and believed in. No one gives me pressure neither do people set standards for me, I do it myself for myself! Selfish goals, but these goals does no harm to anyone.
When others think u have done well have you actually done well? or is it merely a facade, more importantly is wad u think about it. When to others you may have done well but if u do not view it that way, then dun be fooled into contentment, rather let urself become slightly disappointed then climb back up again!! However dun be overly disappointed and fall into depression. If u view urself as underperforming yet not doing too badly then just work on wad went wrong and do better the next time round rather than feel contented just because others think so.
On the other hand when u truly did badly neither should u feel too down, feeling disappointed is probably inevitable but the standing up process is more important. Its not the way u fall rather the way u recover from a fall! If u had not done well dun give up fight harder!! Put in more effort, analyse wad went wrong then work on it. Improve yourself to the best that you can be, convert your weak points into your strongest point then eventually even your weakness would still be relatively strong.
Work towards your dreams!!! Do not be contented unless ur truly contented deep down, after a moment of bliss start working again, complacency never gets anyone anywhere. Stay focused on ur goals n dreams!! I will work hard towards mine come wad may!!! Rush for the top the sky is no longer the limit!
PS: To those who did well congrats! To the rest work harder, do not give up!! JIA YOU!
