Tchoukball!?
I had the most fun third period PE ever. We played this super interesting new sport called Tchoukball!! As wierd as it sounds it is unlike any sport that i ever played. The rules are like a whole new thing to me, some of the few include things such as no interception, it's kinda like captain's ball in a whole new different level. There is heavy emphasis on fair play n sportsmanship and focuses on beautiful play or sth means no violence and what not. It was damn fun, really enjoyed myself laughed a lot. Then the instructor was also super nice lar. I have this mentality that external teachers maybe fierce etc. The instructor which i dunno his name was totally friendly!! Taught us patiently and most of us enjoyed ourselves, even the teachers joined in the fun!! Now i look forward to next week's lesson... and yes i aint kidding or being sarcastic! you can check out more of the rules n stuff on yahoo! or google or sth then may be next time can try to play when it is implemented in vj =)
Here are some insights:
Basically there is this net thingy which acts as a spring and ur supposed to throw against it. The ball would then be bounced off the "goal" or "net" or sth then in order to score the bounced off ball must hit the ground without opponent catching or hitting allys. There are 2 such nets on each side and the team can score on either sides. The team has 3 passes before it becomes compulsory to take a shot. Opponents cannot intercept the ball and can only gain possesion if the ball hits the ground or after a shot was taken. Shooting the rim of the goal post or missing the goal entirely when taking a shot also gives ur opponent a score. There is also this 3m radius around the goal and a shot can only be taken outside this area unless u jump into the zone. and the ball must bounce outside this zone in order to score. Ok some history, Tchoukball was invented by a doctor!!! wth!! then its name comes from the sound the ball makes when it comes into contact with the "goal" the TCHOUK sound, well at least tts wad they claim.
Here is the preview:
Enuf about the sport... haha today went out with my section well not exactly the whole section but part of it... well it was actually just 4 people haha. Ate at parkway and chilled out. It was pretty fun, although i was kinda disregarded by my SL hahaha. Anyways, i also suan her back so we are kinda even. Then, waited for the bus for damn long finally got home n rested was pretty tired.
