Ok... i've been slacking

Havent blogged for such a long time... maybe bcoz its so boring recently tt i dunno wad to type... or i may have just been lying to myself. ANYWAYS yesterday, after being released early i went out with, here goes... jess ms ph wy sx rachel ben jek and wb... i dun think i missed out anyone but if i did forgive me... yea we went to bugis. I was freaking blur lar i've been there a couple of times cos its close to my mom's office however i nvr knew it was known as bugis it was always referred to as " near mom's office" in my head. Well, that aside, ate at yoshinoya, nvr really liked it but didnt object but its still food. I chose the cheapest possible food and basically just ate =) Then, we went shopping just walking ard looking at clothes n stuff. Never really had this experience cos always go out to buy stuff have very clear objectives de however we just walked n looked at stuff. AND JEK TRIED THIS SUPER PURPLE POSER SHIRT THEN DUN LET ME TAKE PHOTO. Yar as the story continues...

There was this stall selling some fried stuff, due to jek's remarkable experience in such foods he advertised and bought a packet of plum powder sweet potato or sth. I was never a fan of sweet potato. However, when i popped it in my mouth, the results was astounding!!! IT WAS LIKE ( WARNING THIS MAY MAKE UR MOUTH WATER ) ok 1stly it was very hot then on the first bite the crispy exterior reminds u of fries, then comes the soft sweet potato part. Texture wise mmmm crispy n soft. Then as it reaches ur taste buds the perfect blend of sweet n salty made it such a pleasure for the tastebuds, it was very fragrant and strong, then as one continues to bite the mild and natural sweetness of the sweet potato seeps in predominating the earlier strong taste. It was like having a perfect blend of strong and mild taste but overall FANTASTIC. Taste + Texture a real treat! However it was pretty heavy on the MSG, then we tried the chicken chop thingy as well equally superb i shant repeat. Once again we would like to thank jek for such a recommendation. o yar did i mention it was just 2 bucks for like a small bag. Worth it? DEFINITELY. But not often thou haha. Did a lil more shopping and people started to get bored. Well Singapore is a pretty boring place... So we dispatched and left for home!! Took the bus was so tired i fell asleep instantaneously... Zzz.. brr brr brr my handphone suddenly vibrated. I woke up and b4 i knew it i was at my bus stop le i quickly alighted. WHEW!! HENG AR that sms woke me up if not i wonder where would i have ended up. Thanks Si Xuan for replying late!! and im not being sarcastic, seriously. Haha it wasnt such a bad day and went home chilling and playing sth i havent done in quite a while.

Ok i got 2 comments from ming shuan and jessica that i dun include names. Its true cos i thought people will tend to want to remain anonymous... well or so i thought. But apparently i was wrong!! So from here on names will appear unless i choose to make them anonymous!! WAHAHAHAHAHA *choke* hahaha

Talked all sorts of nonsense, had a good meal, in a particularly good mood haha.

Tchoukball!?

I had the most fun third period PE ever. We played this super interesting new sport called Tchoukball!! As wierd as it sounds it is unlike any sport that i ever played. The rules are like a whole new thing to me, some of the few include things such as no interception, it's kinda like captain's ball in a whole new different level. There is heavy emphasis on fair play n sportsmanship and focuses on beautiful play or sth means no violence and what not. It was damn fun, really enjoyed myself laughed a lot. Then the instructor was also super nice lar. I have this mentality that external teachers maybe fierce etc. The instructor which i dunno his name was totally friendly!! Taught us patiently and most of us enjoyed ourselves, even the teachers joined in the fun!! Now i look forward to next week's lesson... and yes i aint kidding or being sarcastic! you can check out more of the rules n stuff on yahoo! or google or sth then may be next time can try to play when it is implemented in vj =)

Here are some insights:
Basically there is this net thingy which acts as a spring and ur supposed to throw against it. The ball would then be bounced off the "goal" or "net" or sth then in order to score the bounced off ball must hit the ground without opponent catching or hitting allys. There are 2 such nets on each side and the team can score on either sides. The team has 3 passes before it becomes compulsory to take a shot. Opponents cannot intercept the ball and can only gain possesion if the ball hits the ground or after a shot was taken. Shooting the rim of the goal post or missing the goal entirely when taking a shot also gives ur opponent a score. There is also this 3m radius around the goal and a shot can only be taken outside this area unless u jump into the zone. and the ball must bounce outside this zone in order to score. Ok some history, Tchoukball was invented by a doctor!!! wth!! then its name comes from the sound the ball makes when it comes into contact with the "goal" the TCHOUK sound, well at least tts wad they claim.

Here is the preview:

Enuf about the sport... haha today went out with my section well not exactly the whole section but part of it... well it was actually just 4 people haha. Ate at parkway and chilled out. It was pretty fun, although i was kinda disregarded by my SL hahaha. Anyways, i also suan her back so we are kinda even. Then, waited for the bus for damn long finally got home n rested was pretty tired.

PS: One more time u disregard me and tts it! Im not in ur sections anymore HAHAHAHA!

Being contented... not...

Is really being contented with wad u get good enough or do u plea to do better? Is good always good enough? Why is there the word "better" then? I pondered... And got pretty frustrated haha.

I used to believe that challenging others would then allow u to know where u stand and how good u are... Well that was in the past, the real challenge like the ol' saying goes is challenging urself. Setting high standards for one and doing ur best to meet that standard is the most important. At least that was wad i felt thought and believed in. No one gives me pressure neither do people set standards for me, I do it myself for myself! Selfish goals, but these goals does no harm to anyone.

When others think u have done well have you actually done well? or is it merely a facade, more importantly is wad u think about it. When to others you may have done well but if u do not view it that way, then dun be fooled into contentment, rather let urself become slightly disappointed then climb back up again!! However dun be overly disappointed and fall into depression. If u view urself as underperforming yet not doing too badly then just work on wad went wrong and do better the next time round rather than feel contented just because others think so.

On the other hand when u truly did badly neither should u feel too down, feeling disappointed is probably inevitable but the standing up process is more important. Its not the way u fall rather the way u recover from a fall! If u had not done well dun give up fight harder!! Put in more effort, analyse wad went wrong then work on it. Improve yourself to the best that you can be, convert your weak points into your strongest point then eventually even your weakness would still be relatively strong.

Work towards your dreams!!! Do not be contented unless ur truly contented deep down, after a moment of bliss start working again, complacency never gets anyone anywhere. Stay focused on ur goals n dreams!! I will work hard towards mine come wad may!!! Rush for the top the sky is no longer the limit!

PS: To those who did well congrats! To the rest work harder, do not give up!! JIA YOU!

Meeting an ol' friend

Today, i woke up feeling extremely sleepy... probably due to the inability to sleep the night before. Seems like a horrendous day as i dragged myself to school. Nonetheless, i perked myself up and prepares for school. It seemed like it was gonna be a rather boring day... or so i thought.

Then formal lessons began... PW creeped in the back of my head again... once again it started bothering me after being quarantined during the holidays. Well there wasn't much going on still, although i did recieve some present from my friends who went for a Vietname trip a few weeks back, the thing is small yet thoughtful it had a certain significance related to the reciever. Somehow i was linked to mozart... Well it was still very much appreciated :). ( THANKS! )

Then PE began... played tennis the 1st time in my life... well actually i wont call that playing i was basically just smacking the ball and it pretty much din seem like a game as every "round" pretty much ends after a few hits. I dun get the game and i pretty much sucked big time...so yar time flew by uknowingly.

Finally, PE ended while i was returning the racket i saw a familiar face beside my new PE teacher... at first i merely walked past, however like an invisible force curiosity drew me back. I took a closer look indeed he looked like one of my sister's friend. I wanted to call him but he was talking to my PE teacher so it was kinda difficult to approach. Needless to mention the fact that i was afraid i had mistaken. Just when i was about to give up, i approached my friend n consulted her. Then, i recollected myself plucked out my courage n asked.

Well, at first he gave me that super shocked look, which made me fear for one second.
Then he started hitting me with the tennis racket. WTH!!! commenting that i am still as big size as before bla bla bla... And then he mentioned about my sisters b'dae which was today!! Fancy meeting her friend on her b'dae haha the irony. Chatted for awhile then continued with life haha.

Well the rest of the day wasn't exactly perculiar... recieved some results, thank god it wasn't too bad. Still quite amazed at how small singapore is... Aw wells, now back to celebrating my sister's b'dae hahaha.

PS: Dun u dare smack me again! I'm warning ya!!
